Interested in learning more about the admissions process at Pomona College?

Our special President's Preview Program provides both students and parents the chance to explore Pomona College: a place for adventurous, creative-minded students with the drive to explore and pursue their academic passions within a residential, collaborative liberal arts community.

This half-day open house is geared toward high school juniors who are interested in learning more about what Pomona has to offer and how our admissions process works, but the day’s programming is open to all prospective students.

8 a.m.  – Welcome from G. Gabrielle Starr, Pomona College President and Seth Allen, Vice President and Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid

8:45 a.m. – Student-led campus tours OR small-group workshops for parents and students (“case studies”) that demonstrate how applications are evaluated by Pomona admissions officers

9:45 a.m. – Student-led campus tours OR small-group workshops for parents and students (“case studies”) that demonstrate how applications are evaluated by Pomona admissions officers

11 a.m.  – For Parents: Financial Aid Session OR Mental Health and Wellness Session
  For Students: How to Put Your Best Foot Forward in the Admissions Process

12 p.m.  – Closing mixer with the Pomona community (light refreshments will be served)
