You are warmly invited to our virtual program for rising seniors,
Pomona Plunge: A Deep Dive into Academics and Admissions, on Thursday, July 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. PDT.
Using internet-based platforms such as Zoom and Kahoot, Pomona Plunge includes:
- Faculty-led sessions about the arts & humanities, natural sciences and social sciences at Pomona
- An alumni panel about majors and minors at Pomona, and the potential outcomes they lead to
- An interactive trivia game about “the numbers” in college admissions
- A deep dive into our three application types: The Coalition, Common and QuestBridge Application
- A session on how your academic record is evaluated and considered in the Pomona admissions process
- A reflective discussion with current Pomona students about their application processes
