Interested in looking behind the curtain of the admissions process?

President's Preview provides both students and parents the chance to experience the unparalleled value of Pomona College: a place for adventurous, creative-minded students with the drive to explore and pursue their academic passions within a residential, collaborative liberal arts community.

This half-day open house is aimed towards high school juniors who are interested in learning more about what Pomona has to offer and how the admissions process works. While this program is geared toward high school juniors, the day's programming is open to all prospective students:
 
7:30 a.m.  –  Check-in

8 a.m.  –  Welcome from G. Gabrielle Starr, President, and Seth Allen, Vice President for Strategy & Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid

8:45 a.m.  –  Student-led campus tours or small-group application case studies for parents and students led by Pomona admissions officers

9:45 a.m.  –  Student-led campus tours or small-group application case studies for parents and students led by Pomona admissions officers

11 a.m.  – For Parents: Financial Aid Session OR Balance and Pomona Session
                For Students: How to Put Your Best Foot Forward in the Admissions Process

12 noon  –  Closing mixer with the Pomona community (light refreshments will be served)

There will also be optional tours of our athletics and arts facilities at 2 p.m., departing from the Admissions Office (Sumner Hall).
